You have probably tested too early, do you live in the UK? if so there is a pregnancy test called 'first response' you can test 4 days before your period is due.
But may I stress that there is between 54% and 64% of the test giving a 'real result' if you test 4 days before your period.
I am also trying to conceive, and waiting for your cylce can be frustrating. I have spent alot of money on test's and I am so irregular!
Thes best thing to do is sit paitently, and wait for your period to arrive. If it doesnt arrive, by all means do a test.
The thing is that to do a test a week late of your period will give a better answer, reason for this is that it takes a week after implantation for thr preganacy hormone to rise in your body.
Symptoms, such as cravings, come later on in pregnancy. Eating lots is also a symptom of your period coming. I know that, as I eat like a horse! lol
A lot of people, don't even know that they're pregnant even when they are like 3 months, (Everyone is different).
You will feel bloated either way, if you were to have your period or not.
One thing though, is how does your husband feel your symptoms? never heard that one before.
Some people say if you really want to be pregnant that much, your body will react that way, and at some point we have all felt these symptoms.
Don't read too much into it be patient, and good luck x

Unfortunately, I think we've all had months where we have every pregnancy symptom in the book--and then we're not pregnant. And then there's this month, where I swore I wasn't pregnant and I am!
So, here's the thing. if you're not due for another 5-7 days, then you most likely ovulated a week ago. (on a 4 week cycle--approx 28-31days). If you ovulated a week ago, it takes 6-9 days for the fertilized egg to travel down the fallopian tubes and implant itself. So, if you were pregnant, it would've happened within the last day or so.
If that's the case, it's highly unlikely that the symptoms you're experiencing are a direct affect of a pregnancy.
SO, I'd be paying more attention to: did you have implantation bleeding? are your BBT temps remaining high? and, of course, are you late--which, it's too early to tell.
So...I want to say, no...it sounds like your symptoms aren't from a pregnancy, but that doesn't mean you couldn't be pregnant... You really need to wait and see.
good luck

Go to the doctor and ask for a blood test or you could try a pregnancy test called first response. I hope you get the result you are hoping for.

If you have a cold I would think that you are just ill far too early to be getting cravings!
