Kobe has always played this way. He's been hit in the face while shooting and nobody ever said anything about it. He's just protecting himself before it happens. You can't blame him.
Joe Namath had both knees broken by not protecting himself. Short career in F/B
Troy Aikman, too many head injuries.F/B
Mitch Kupchek, knee injury, ended up retiring early from B/B
Good reason to protect yourself or not?

What ? You call that a hit ? That was more like a Paris Hilton b****-slap.
Those Kobe-hating mutants will find any excuse to smear the reputation of a good man. It's a travesty dammit !
Let him score 100 and then try to suspend him.

He has done this for years and gotten away with it because he was the "great" Kobe. It is just now the refs are finally calling him on his play. They have a new favorite now. Dewayne Wade over in Florida now gets the Kobe treatment.
