I recently took my computer to get fixed and we just got it back yesterday, but whenever I try to go on youtube or something i always get this message that says:

Hello, you either have JavaScript turned off or an old version of Macromedia's Flash Player. Get the latest flash player.
I already downloaded the flash player and it still won't work. Is there any way I can fix this?

thanks :]

JavaScript has nothing to do with Java (despite the naming similarity). To enable JavaScript in Internet Explorer:

Go to Tools > Internet Options
Go to the Security tab
Click the "Custom Levels..." button near the bottom
Scroll down almost to the bottom of the list, where it says "Scripting". Underneath that it says "Active Scripting" and has choices for Enable, Disable, and Prompt. Choose "Enable"
and click OK, then click OK.

To ensure you have the most recent version of the Flash player, go to Start > Settings > Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs
Find any items labelled "Adobe Flash...", "Macromedia Flash..." "Shockwave Flash Player", etc. and remove them. Then go back to http://www.adobe.com/flashplayer and follow the instructions.

Java and JavaScript are two completely different beasts.

To enable JavaScript, go to IE Tools/Internet Options/Security/Custom Level ... scroll down to the end of the list and select Enable Active Scripting

Open information superhighway Explorer>>procedures>>information superhighway ideas>>progressed. or perhaps you want to acquire a more advantageous recent version for both JavaScript and Flash participant..in simple terms google "acquire solar Java" or "acquire Adobe flash"...It takes in person-friendly words jiffy. yet in case you want my suggestion, use Firefox...it is going to remedy your downloading issues and revel in surfing.

You may need to install java on your machine. Try going here and see if it says you need to install or upgrade:

Good luck,
