Good for hiccups would mean the hiccups would get stronger and faster. You need something bad for hiccups.
Bend over drink water from the opposite side of the glass. A long drink then stand up. Try a couple of times. Good luck

My friend just taught me this.
1. Drink water upside down.
If that doesn't work, try this.
1. hold your breath for 10 seconds.
2. Count on your fingers.
3. swallow without breathing two times(while still holding your breath)
4. Kiss your knee.
Good Luck.

Bend your body so that you are facing your knees, grab a glass of water and drink from it upside down while you try to pray any prayer you know.
It works.
