I consider my most valuable contribution to society is the way my children turned out and the way my grandchildren, whom I am raising, are turning out.

As far as outside the family, when I was an Army wife, I was awarded the Molly Pitcher Award from a 2 Star General, while living in Athens, Greece. This was given to me for organizing the soldiers wives into a wives's club, which hadn't existed there before, also organizing them into visiting sick soldiers or their families while hospitalized in Greece, organizing the wives into greeting the new Army families as they arrived into Greece, etc. I was the only Command Sergeant Major's wife to ever receive this artillery award. In the past it had always been presented to officers' wives.

I answer 911 calls. Even the stupid ones. Other than that, I really don't care about society.
