Man, oh MAN!!!! I don't belive this. OK so there are 6th graders and 5th graders, they are split into teams, each team has 9 players, no coach. So one kid leaves because he hates all the players, 2 players are heck of lazy, and we have to fight 6 on 8, with all other teams switching! We already lost 2 games, and lots of players have already lost their hope! I know this saying that quiters never win, and winners never quit, but I'm brave enough to stand up. We can't find any time to practice, and it seems that all hope is lost, but thats not true. PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!! By the way, if we lose 4 more games, were are out of the league forever!!

You need to have a team meeting with BOTH teams present. Take a vote to see how many players want to play for the "fun of it" and then count the players who want to play "to win". Let ALL the players who just want to have fun be together as a team, and the ones who are serious about winning on the other team.... Decide on a practice day for the serious players, letting the other team know they are welcome to come,,, and get on with it!

If no one wants to practice then NO ONE really gives a hoot about winning and you need to chill, sit back and play.

I dont remember caring so much about winning back in 6th grade.... Its supposed to be for the kids enjoyment.... It seems to me that your putting to much on winning and not enough on letting the kids have fun...
