I'd say cocaine, the doors were more the lsd crowd. Qualudes maybe? Hehe

LOL Elana is right it was helium. I loved their music and so did all my friends, and we clubbed. None of us did cocaine, but that is not to say people did not use coke while listening to it, as this was the era it became popular.

A better question is, what drugs -weren't- they on? When you're on drugs, probably anything sounds good, so they probably catered to everyone, not just one specific group.

ive never really thought of them as an acid band.... but have u seen them in Sgt pepper the movie? its CLASIC!!!
