12 year old Birthday Party :) .?

Question

My friend and I are needing i deas for a birthday party. We are both turning 12 and are both very "girly". We want to have the dates of the partys close to each other because our birthdays are close to each other. I was thinking of going to a salon and getting everybodys hair done and they would also get a manicure. She has know idea what so ever and I am not so fond with my idea ither. Pleasse give us ideas and no we are not inviting boys only girls and we ARE girls. So PLEASEEE resond quick our birthdays are really soon!!!!!!!!!

get a grown up who is cool to help yous on your special day, my daughter is 10 and gets invited to girl parties too, go to a bargain store like a $2 shop, buy some coloured hairspray, hair ties, make up, gem tattoos, and all get makeovers, have the stereo pumpin, do a pass the parcel and make every wrapper have a cool item, like a glitter pen, stickers, hairclips, note pad, anything u girls like, and other games, like bobbing for apples, a piniata, and u can even watch a movie if u want the party to b long, well have fun girls, i hope yous have a fantastic day

How about your parent(s) make up a list of clues for a treasure hunt or a list of items for a scavenger hunt. The scavenger hunt is good if you have enough nice neighbors, or a list of things you can find without knocking on other people's doors. The treasure hunt would culminate in some fun goodie box.

I think the salon thing is too commercial, too removed from your own input, tho I could see you all sitting around chatting getting pedicures if the salon is set up right.

If you've got a digital camera and a computer, you could make a movie, either improv or write a script. make costumes, sets, have a blast.
