My fiancee plays this stupid roleplaying game on the computer almost 24/7 when he is home. He never wants to do anything with me anymore. He says its more fun than doing anything with me. We used to play games together, watch tv and all kinds of stuff but not for the last 2-3 weeks. He won't listen to me, I think it is ruining our relationship. I don't know what to do. Please help...

My husband has been like that about games before...mostly not the computer, but when he gets a new video game he refuses to do anything else for a couple of weeks. I usually just wait him out, because he'll get tired of the game or beat it after a little while. If I make a big deal, he'll keep playing it longer. Men are just more competetive than we are and they have a real urge to keep doing something until they win.

Your situation is a little bit different...because you're not married yet and you're still in the "trial" period. Even if he gets over it after a week or two, he's likely to do it again when he finds another game that's interesting. If it's something that's going to bother you when it happens over the years, then you need to think about whether you want to continue the relationship or not.

Your fiancee is ignoring your for a game on the computer and when your married he will ingore you and your children the same way. Dump him now! He is not your "Mr. Right". NEVER play second to something like roleplaying. Sure, everybody has extra activities they like to do, but if it interfears with your relationships, it's out of hand.

I guess you could tell him dating other men is more fun than doing anything with him and I'm sure he'll get the picture.

Take a good hard look at yourself, and don't be a nagging pain in the @$$ who blows things out of proportion.

If he's picking a computer over you, what's that say about what you offer him?

Your choice of wording ("stupid roleplaying game") tells me you don't take the time to understand or appreciate his interests. I'll bet there are plenty of things you are interested in that he (or others) might find "stupid". Stop passing judgement on the things he enjoys.

Okay it sounds like your fiancee has a problem and he needs to realize what's more important to him in life. You and yall's relationship or him and his role playing game. Give him an ultimative. Tell him that if he doesn't quit and give you more attention then you are going to start seeing other people. Or you can tell him that his role playing is ruing the relationship between you 2. I hope he realzes that what he's doing is unacceptable. Goodluck! :)

I wouldn't be marrying a guy who tells me the computer is more interesting. Your not too bright to let him talk to you this way and actually follow through with a marriage.

I have a feeling if you disappeared for 2 days, he wouldn't even know you were gone.

Sounds like a complete loser . . . even in his roleplaying game! I'd say drop him like a stone and be glad you found out now rather than later!

fiancee? go and find another one....this guy isn't worth your attention. you've already said you piece and he won't listen. the fact that he said the game he's playing is much fun than you ...is enough reason to dump him.
