Hypothetically in the mathematical world, there are straight lines and perfect circles. In the hypothetical world, pi exist because there is a formula to solve for it.
However, in the real world, there are no straight lines and no "perfect" circles.

No. How can there be unless the space in which it's embedded is flat?
