Anyone working for big IT firms like HP, IBM, Mircosoft, Oracle.... ?

I have always admire people working in these big coorporations. I think they are very smart people. How is it like to be working in a big company like that? Does it take to be a really smart person to get in to these companies? Why can't i get hire by any of them?

I think they do. If you are a freshie, they will hire you based on your academic results. If you are experienced, they willl judge you based on your working experience and achievement you have got during your employement. I figure that's hard to get it to big firms!
