I know, you're on the far side of the pond, so I'll be kind (tee-hee).
Perform a "Google" search on OUR side of the pond, and use the search term(s) "Truck + Freight + broker" and this will bring up an endless list of brokers, among other things.
Make contact with those listed, and ask if they can be of help to you.
You will need to spend some time either in "training" with the company, or work out some other arrangements to obtain your Commercial Driver's License (CDL) and your DOT physical (Green card).
If that becomes an issue, try contacting FALCON TRUCK SCHOOL.
Tim and Suze can perhaps help you obtain your license. If you already have the skills, they can help you with the American (specifically the California) requirements without the necessity for the WHOLE course. It would save you a bit of money.

why do you want to go there ? come to Canada , specifically Alberta , we need anybody that can tie their shoes and we still have the Queen on our money, I've met an expat. Brit. through this site and he is doing well in Calgary , Calgary's newspaper is "the Herald " and Edmonton's is "the Journal "
