I wanna plan a summer road trip from Maine to Florida. Tell me where she should stop along the way!?

My husband and I love to travel, and have two little girls, ages 5 yrs and 14 mos who also love road trips as well. We live in Maine and would love to take a road trip from here to Florida. Where should we plan to stop along the way? We're not too farmiliar with the east coast anywhere south of Boston. That's why we want to go so bad. Got any ideas of good sites to see?

Hershey, PA got the chocolate factory tours, HersheyPark (there are alot of kid rides as well as adult)
