im doing a book report and i simply have no idea how to write it
i have read the book it is quite interesting, its just to complicated

AH! I hate that book! It's so... plotless and predictable. If you can, do your book report on something better. I've got some suggestions-
-Just Listen by Sarah Dessen (sort of the same plot as Speak, but a lot better)
-Anything by Jodi Picoult
-Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte
-Twilight or New Moon by Stephenie Meyer

Speak. It's about a girl who was raped by a drunk guy at a party and her quest for reconcilliation. Some points you want to make:
The title may have something to do with the way that after her rape, she feels she is trapped, and can't really "speak".
She feels muffled, if you will, as if she lost something. Like, with her virginity, she lost her voice.
