No, the terrorists do not have an army, per se. The terrorists are organized into isolated cells that have limited contact with other cells and only listen to highest command in a terrorist organization. (This is done so that, if one cell is discovered, other cells will not be compromised.) Certainly there are cells in the United States that are waiting for a command from that highest authority. There is a great possibility that the leaders of some of those terrorist organizations are in Iraq and unable to communicate to their cells because of the U.S. occupation. If we pull out now, the terrorist leaders will use the destruction in the country, mostly caused by Saddam Hussein, that has not yet been fixed by the U.S., against the U.S. in much the same way that Adolf Hitler blamed the Jews for all of Germany's problems. This will allow the terrorist leaders to recruit more fanatics to organize into cells to move into the United States. If some cells are successful in getting established in the U.S., they are poised to attack the country in some way. An event like September 11th can be repeated. The U.S. right now is not allowing people to join militant terrorist groups in Iraq. The lack of the U.S.'s presence will likely cause problems for both the United States and Iraq.

A full-scale military invasion? No. But, like someone on here said, and I'll paraphrase: After the first WTC attack, First Lady Bill was too busy launching his lovejuice at an intern under his desk rather than launching a retalitory attack like he SHOULD have done. That's why they came back and attacked the towers again, because everyone looked the other way. Bush did right by going into Iraq; problem is he should have steamrolled Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and ANY country that so much has given a cent to fund any terrorist activity. Unfortunately, Bush lost his focus by staying too long in Iraq and heshould kept after bin Laden. But by pulling out of Iraq, we'll look weak in the eyes of the world. We already look stupid (thanks, libs); we don't want to be stupid AND weak.

Of course not. They would continue to use terror as their weapon: suicide bombings against civilian targets, assassinations of elected officials, and other unconventional tactics. They know that if they tried to fight a straight-up man-to-man war, they'd be taken apart just like every other time in history.
That said, however, if the United States military were to suddenly leave Iraq, all of those insurgents that the Islamo-fascists continue to funnel into that country would suddenly be able to look around for new targets. Considering the problems we're having with illegal immigration right now, that would not be a good thing.

Ya the threat of terrorism is manufactured by the cia and our own government. As long as they have the power nothing would surprise me . The sooner we get out of Iraq the better, otherwise we will continue to breed more terrorist if thats what you wanna call em. They will be regular citizens looking for revenge after all their families and belongs are blown to bits. Not much to loose and everything to gain. I think we have already been invaded by the terrorists, the bush administration.

Yes, if we pull out without finishing the job, we will be attacked again by terrorist in the US.
We stand to challenge any group that seeks the destruction of our nation, its founding precepts of liberty and freedom, or those who have given of themselves to secure those things for another generation.
As a nation we cannot afford to loose this war, which was started way before our president was elected,it is a crime to try and put the blame on him when he is the one who finally is trying to do some thing about it .Remember who started this it was not the USA.I have to agree that it is past time to stand up for what is right ,
we are engaged in a war against international terrorism; a war declared against us long before 9/11. to lose the war could mean the end of Western Civilization as we know it. Our enemies fly many flags and call themselves many names; al Queda, Hammas, Hezbolla, ect.; all dedicated to our destruction. They want neither land nor fortune, only our destruction and that is unacceptable. it has come down to a war of wills. is our will to survive as strong as their will to destroy us? that will be the final test.
since there is no one country named “Terror” we must fight them where and when we find them. Currently that is happening in Iraq and Afganistan. our presence in those areas draw them in, like moths to a flame, so that we can destroy them efficently. We may well be in Iran, a well-spring of terrorism, before long and our troops are geographically situated to do just that.

Well it took them about eight years in between the two Twin Tower bombings, so I would say were good for about another 26 years until another terrorist attack. However, it will be of a greater porportion. Terrorists like to raise the stakes.

Iraq seems to be a magnet for 'terrorists'. Assuming that there is, at any given time, some finite # of 'terrorists', I suspect that if they were not partying in Iraq w/ us, they'd be happy to join you in your local shopping mall. Care to put your kids' -- otherwise unblemished childhood -- in w/ hand-grenades at the local Hot Topic to see how they stand up?... I thought not.

Absolutely. Their loading chlorine gas cylinders, painted to cleverly disguise them as large baby bottles onto their camels and preparing to swim them over to the US. That's right, the camels will swim down the gulf, thru the indian and pacific oceans and right onto the beaches at Malibu, where they wil stick tubes full of plastique up the camels butts and detonate them.
Fortunately, PETA got word of this, and they'll be waiting with signs protesting animal cruelty.
The terrorists plan to delay action from Washington by sending a copy of a new book, My Pet Sheep to the White House.
Remember, you heard it here first ;-)

If a terrorist army was going to invade us, it seems to me that they could have simply walked across the border already. But then I guess Bush couldn't let anything, including national security, get in the way of the North American Union and globalization.
