The only thing I have found that works.
Put a considerable amount of baking soda in your shoes, then put the shoes in the freezer over night.
The baking soda absorbs the oder and the freezer kills the bacteria.
Hope this helps.

Heavy stench & odors is caused by a build up of bacteria in the shoes, you will need to wash them & deodorise them by using bleach or lysol after washing & drying them. depending on the type and color of the shoe, using either will kill the germs breeding in those shoes. If your feet smell you may have athletes foot, clean feet often using hot soapy water, then spray with alcohol & dry thoroughly, change socks often & keep feet clean and dry always
if this doesnt help use some athletes foot spray, if that doesnt work you must see a Doctor and throw out those shoes.
Body spays like axe & other things recommend are only covering the smell not elimnating the problem.

When I was a kid I had terrible feet, that smelt real bad. Since I went to white socks and 2 to 3 pair of shoes this doesn't happen. I change my shoes every day. This give's them a chance to dry out. Hope this helps. If this does not then you may want to go to a dermitoligist for a skin condition. There may be a cream or something you can use.

Are the shoes machine washable? If not, you could use a damp (not wet) rag, with some baking soda. Clean and rinse (by wiping with a clean damp rag) the inside of your shoes with that. Also, you might want to put just a little dusting of baking soda in your shoes overnight, then shake them out, outside in the morning before putting them back on. Take care.

When you first buy shoes they come packed with these little packets that contain little gel capsuls inside of the packet that helps to keep the shoes fresh. More than likely you have tossed out those little packets along with the shoe box once you got your shoes home. Anyway you can go to any shoe store and ask the clerk to give you several of those little packets that they have in the shoe boxes. Place at least 2 of the packets in each shoe everytime you take them off. Those packets will absorb the odor in your shoes.
Good Luk!

Really any body spray and also those arm & hammer or other ordor powders just don't go over board or they'll turn into a paste when your feet start to sweet. Also if you leave the shoes outside your front door (if possible) to air out every night after work it'll control the smell. As well as freebreeze every night after work.

Try some Mexsana powder in your shoes after use, if that doesn't work..might want to consider burning them so as not to offend.

throw them in the washer, use downy.
put fabric softener sheets in them(maybe under the sole)
take off your shoes when you dont need them on. that way they don't get stinky too fast
