The Greek beaches are not the endless type you will find in Florida, Australia etc. So a 35 mile beach is not likely and have not come across one nearly that size in my extensive travels through Greece. Greece is not known for anything "Biggest", "largest" and "most" in the world. Everything Greek is within human proportions and within human needs and human reach. So you will find beaches ranging from medium to intimate. The best one I know of is in Lefkada, in front of a small cave and large enough for two. Have not discovered such beauty in any other part of the world. (Photo available)

The north part of the island of Crete has beaches of that length but they are very easily accessible as they run very close to the main highway crossing Crete from east to west.

Greece has many many kilometres of beaches all around her. I can't figure out which one you are searching. But I can recommend to you the beaches of Kos, if you are looking for long sandy beaches!
