say something like,,,, it's just not working out like I planned. Your sound just isn't what i'm looking for, or your attitude isn't in line with the rest of us.

I was in a band in the early 90's and we replaced a guitarist by telling him we were going in a different direction...we told him that he was very talented for a young guitarist and we hoped he would find a good band with whom he could grow professionally. The truth was he had a body odor issue and no one wanted to practice with him anymore...(sorry, Chris)
