I came from the Philippines where martial law was once initiated there.it lasted for about 20 years and my gran ones said it is so much better back then coz laws are really enforced.but the bad thing i that the president back then was killing more and more people and imprissoning press members so there really wasn't freedom of the press there back then. but wih a good dictator,i reckon it'll really work out well.

Dictators are the only ones who believe dictatorship can work, as proven out so many times in history. That's why so many are overthrown before time catches up with them. "Absolute power, corrupts absolutely" as the wise man put it!!!!!

That must be why Bill and Hillary spent so much time checking with their Chinese pals while giving away US secrets and pocketing millions for the campaign trail.. If she wins you might learn first hand how a dictatorship works.

yes... always a bad thing. people have power at the cost of others.... period. in order for you to be placed in a position of power, you need to create a support base... by redistributing the wealth you control among your supporters. this sets up a system where those in control owe their wealth to those they control... any illusion created by those that rule that they are doing it in the best interest of those they rule is just that- an illusion.

Of course dictatorship works. More people have lived under authoritarian regimes for longer periods than any other form of government.
