The Philadelphia Flyers will probably have the first pick...Any idea of who they will draft?

Probably Alexei Cherepanov. He has more points than Evgeni Malkin, Alexander Ovechkin and Ilya Kovalchuk did in their first seasons in the RSL at the age of 17. He played in the 07 World Jr.'s and led Russia to a silver, led the tourny in scoring and was named best forward.

He's ranked #1 on the ISS March rankings...which has Esposito dropped all the way to #11.

Its a pretty wide open draft this year.

Pat Kane is probably the best sniper available.

Karl Alzner is probably the most polished defensemen.

You got centers Angelo Esposito and Logan Couture out there.

Other wingers include Alexei Cherepanov and Jakub Voracek.

Goalie isn't too deep in this year's draft so hopefully Biron and future netminder Martin Houle/Rejean Beauchemin will be good enough for the time being.

one million) it extremely is a few distance too early to assert that 2007 is the worst draft in history, noticeably as various of those men are in basic terms two decades old 2) we can not wisely say that 2003 is the perfect in modern reminiscence the two (noticeably as 2004 has a plenty larger pts/interest fee) to circulate further, at this think approximately the 2006 season......there have been fewer gamers from the 2003 draft taking part in in the NHL than there are gamers from the 2007 draft taking part in immediately (2 drafts and 7 months previous their respective draft dates)

Angelo Esposito was the highest ranked North American skater in the mid-season NHL Central Scouting Bureau's ranking and is probably worth the pick.

My guess would be Angelo Esposito of the Quebec City Remparts. 98 points last season in 57 games...
