im not motherly towards human kids. i cant stand them. their horrible, noisy things that leak everywhere. i hate them.
i only like my sister's kid cause i have to, and only for an hour or two at a time.
and i hate ppl that say 'but you were a kid once yourself".... so what, its not like i could help it! or ppl that say that i'll get broody one day and have kids, and it doesnt matter what i say now.
i hear you girl, and i dont know why these women have to make their lives worthwhile by popping out screaming, drooling things to amuse them and make their lives worth living. and to win the approval of the other mommies at pre-school.
i have 3 cats, 2 dogs and a lizzard. and you know what, even if they didnt give me love in return, i would still look after them, cause as a free thinking individual women, i dont need men or children to validate and affirm my role in the world.
and i'm not a lesbian. i am a feminist tho.

Those types of women don't know what real love is! Some women that did have children, should not have! They do not nurture but destroy their own children and adult children with their meddling and instigating. Children cursed with a parent or parents like these would be far better off without them! If not being motherly means you choose an education or a career over being the old woman in the shoe, then let them be judgmental. It's their angry prerogative. Parenting is more than just a duty.

What you are talking about is called by definition being "Selective". Women who choose not to have children, generally tend to have a firm sense of who they are and what they want. If they have children or get married it is choice, not a trap, instigated by people that want to run your life, when they can't handle their own.

People don't want to recognize that not all women have urges to breed. Time and time again I have been verbally attacked by these matrons who are pissed at me for having absolutely NO desire to have children.
I personally think that they are furious that there are women out there who won't be gaining 60 pounds and whose hips won't be dislocating and widening permanently during childbirth. That's no reason for them to broadcast their insecurities.
You can always tell the difference between women who chose to have kids and women who had them because they thought they had to. The former can co-exist peacefully with their child-free counterparts while the latter have no self-control around us.

As for the comment about gay people, I think the asker was trying to make a comparison between women born without maternal urges and people who are born gay. (By the way, if gays chose to be gay, that means straight people chose to be straight.)

I don't. I know full well that some women just aren't meant to be mothers and the same goes for men as well. Theres nothing wrong with it, in fact its probably better that way.

You just implied that women who aren't motherly are gay and that gay women aren't motherly. Your implications are deliberately misleading. But you knew that.

You've demonstrated your ability to be crass... so I'm baffled why you would ever ask the following question: (unless that is you were trying to find out about yourself?)

I imagine it makes them feel superior to those of us who are unable to have children...I happen to disagree of course!Just because a woman cannot have kids doesn't mean she is not capable of having maternal/paternal instincts..I do...& I am sure others do as well..I don't need pity or even empathy, just respect for who I am regardless of the fact I lack kids..
Far as being gay, thats another subject entirely...I believe some do believe they are born into it others aquire it at some point in life..To each their own ey?

Judging others eases the misery one is suffering inside. The human race is judgmental and there's nothing we could do about it.

I don't know why.
It seems that there are plenty of parents who should never have had kids, so when I meet someone who cannot or will not have kids, I respect them.
I also wonder what it would be like to be them, since I have 6 kids, and have been a Mom all my life! lol
Oh, to trade lives with one of them for just one week.....
Good luck

I don't judge women who arn't maternal. I feel the paternal urge to have children soon but that doesn't mean I expect everyone else to share my views. I'm surprised you feel judged...

People don't need a reason to be judgmental, they just are. It isn't the norm, so it's up for judging..

"There must be something wrong with her!" "That's just not normal!"
