Ok, me and my friend tried out for Annie. Well, she is my best friend and we are really close. I know I suck at singing, and she told me she does too, so I was happy that both of us were really only good at acting so that there wouldn't be that wierd thing inbetween us. Well, at the audition, she refused to sing anything! She cried for 30 minutes infront of my teacher. Then she finally sang and then we left. My teacher is a major sucker for cryers. Well, in the next couple of days, my teacher put up the cast list and of course....it was bad! SHE GOT ANNIE! I don't understand this because she wont even sing infront of her best friend. Well, I got a sucky part, so I'm really mad. Well, school is about to start again (spring break), and it was awkward lat time. She can tell Im mad (everyone else is too!). Well, I just want to know what to do about our friendship becuase I know it wont be as strong becuase she lied 2 me about 4 years and i just need help with what 2 do about our friendship

I know I'm not jealous becuase I didn't want Annie, and I have told her how mad I am, but she is just wimpy and she starts to cry. I just dont know how I should tell her without her freaking out. She always gets her om to call my mom when we fight, and then I get in trouble! Also, I have to get a ride from her from school everyday, so i dont want it to be awkward. We get into a couple of fights a year, but we get over it in like 20 mintues, but I just dont think I will be able to get over this.....she broke my trust factor with her! How can I get over this? I've tried talking to her calmly, but she starts crying...any other ideas?

You obviously have a friend that is clearly emotional. I think some of us were born more emotional then others. Be happy for her because she made Annie. Most likely you will both graduate from highschool one day go your seperate ways and thats that. Rarely do you see school friends still being friends as adults. As I always say on this blog You will be blessed to find 1 true lifelong friend in your life. Always be honest and true to yourself around your friends. Never be what everyone else wants or expects you to be.

Sorry but you are being jealous. Why else would you be upset she got a part? A real friend would be thrilled and excited that her friend got something so cool.
You need to look at yourself and do some serious thinking.
Grow up and quit being mad about something so petty. Apologize to her and then tell her your happy for her.
She deserves a better friend than you are. You better hope she forgives you because the way you act I dont think anyone would want you for a friend.

ok first of all, u said well WAYYYYY to much...
and also I dont understand y u said she lied to u? does this mean that she was a good singer after all, because otherwise shes not lying, ur teacher just felt bad for her....
and its not that big of a deal, ur throwing it out of proportion. Dont act jealus just support her, and if she really didnt deserve the part she'll screw up and than she'll want ur support even more
