There's always been some debate over their effects, but here's how I've always thought it went.

--------------------------
To summon any of them, you must tribute 3 monsters on the field. When they are on the field, you opponent cannot target them with spells, traps, or monster effects. So something like Raigeki Break, which targets one monster, can't be used on a God. However, Raigeki, which doesn't target anything but instead sweeps the field, would destroy a God. You can bring a God back from the grave with Monster Reborn or Call of the Haunted, but it gets returns to the grave at the end of the turn.

Obelisk's effect: Tribute two monsters on the field. Destroy all of your opponents monsters on the field.

Slifer's Effect: For every card in your hand, increase Slifer's attack and defense by 1000 points.

Ra's Effect: When you summon this card, add the attack points of the tributed monsters.. This becomes your attack. The add the defense points of the tributed monsters. This becomes your defense. During your turn, you may sacrifice all your life points but 1. Add the life points you sacrificed to Ra's attack and defense.

--------------------------
I would like to add that the Egyptian Gods are not tournament legal. They also have no effect written on them. They have descriptions, like a normal monster.
