how has technology changed from the beginning to now?

In the beginning, there wasn't any. Then some early day primate picked up a rock and tossed it at a rabbit, and lo and behold! He had rabbit for dinner. We've come a long way from that to the present day, but the earliest technology was likely somethng just as simple as that.

What do you consider the beginning? Using a rock as a hammer or knife was advanced technology long ago. The Wheel was super advanced once. You need to narrow your focus and you'll have an easier time finding information. (ie how has technology changed since 1970)
