I it wrong to be mad at your friend if she lied to you bout how she met her boyfriend?? I dont think its right that she would lie to me and all of her other friends.I mean she told me that she met him b/c his dad and her dad worked together...but then on friday night we ooked up her boyfriends profile b/c he had told my other friend that they met through Yahoo!Answers and thats when we found out that she had lied tio us about the whole situation. So I'm just wondering if its wrong to be mad at her?

I already confronted her about it...and i understand...but im still hurt and a little mad that she would do that and then turn around and lie about it

i guess i would be mad too cause friends are suppose to trust each other and they are suppose to say the truth to them so no it's not wrong for you to be mad.

Maybe your friend did not feel she could be honest because she was afraid she would be judged as to how she met him. There is not a person that walks this earth that has not lied at some point or another. Its not right no but we all do or have done it. Forgive her and ask her if she thought she would be judged wrongly had she told you the truth.

Well you can be mad at her if you want but whats the point maybe she was embarrassed about how they met. Besides if she is really your friend or should I say if you are really her friend you should just go and talk to her about it. Thas what friends do they talk things out and get past their problems and differences. Give it a try and I bet you'll feel a lot better about it all.

You have every right to be mad at her because she lied, but thats not a seirouse thing.. so i wouldn't totally ignore her for the rest of your life..talk to her about and ask her why she lied or something. Dont be so mad at her.

I wouldn't be mad at her but I would tell not to lie again. She was probably embarrassed at the fact they met on the computer. My aunt met her husband on the internet but told all of us she met him at work. So just take it easy on her.

It seems strange that she would lie about something that would be innocent. I would be wary of the situation, but don't hold it against them. It could just be a mistake. You are hearing about the whole thing through the grapevine.

I think you should ask yourself if she did it for a good reason...and then just talk to her about her vioationing your trust and you still want to be friends it can't happen again. You have the chance to be the bigger person and forgive her,
