Caffeine causes the blood vessels to contract; some of the caffeine you drink will pass the placental barrier, and go to your baby's bloodstream. Since your baby is growing extremely rapidly, it needs all the blood flow that it can get to carry nutrients to its developing cells. If the blood vessels are constricted, your baby is not getting the maxiumum possible blood flow, and thus is not getting the maxiumum nutrients it can.
If possible, restrict caffeine completely; if not, then the less you can ingest, the better.

Caffeine is fine in limited quantities. Because it's a stimulant, it causes the heart rate of the mother and baby to increase. Also, if the baby isn't as active as normal, doctors advise the mother to drink something caffeinated and/or increase the sugar intake to get baby moving again. That's what my doc told me when it happened.

When I was pregnant I just tried to limit myself to 2 caffeinated drinks a day and my kids are fine. Caffeine speed up breathing and heart rates which in turn speeds up the babies heart rate, I assume that is why they tell you to avoid caffeine. Good luck with your baby!

there is countless sodium in the soda, which could strengthen your physique's choose for water so confirm you drink countless water too. Aspartame is extremely suspicious yet there is not any statistical hyperlink to any sort of disease. Sucralose is particularly new to the industry so there is little learn. with out going loopy on it, nutrition plan soda and noticeably the caffein-loose style could be an ok indulgence for the time of your being pregnant. in case you stumble on which you're having themes with urination (too plenty or no longer adequate) step up the water.

You can drink caffeine, just limit it. Caffeine is a stimulant, so even though your placenta filters, some is going to pass through to your baby.

you can have about a coke a day, but less is prefered. The reason why it is not a good idea to have alot of caffein is because it speeds up your heart rate, thus affecting the fetus, and could cause early child birth.

The Dr. that i see, says, if you want a soda, have one. If you need a Tylenol Sinus, take it. It is better to "indulge" a bit, rather that experience with drawls. As with the Tylenol.
You know, everyday, you may actually-not want a soda. Some days you may crave juice. Just follow your gut. When the baby gets here, you will have to depend on it a bunch!
You wouldn't intentionally do something to harm your unborn, so roll with it sister!!
Good luck.

It raises your heart rate because it is a stimulant. Could complicate things later down the line if you have a blood pressure problem. It is also a diuretic so it causes you to pee out more than you take in. That means that you could dehydrate yourself and the baby needs water.

One more thought, if the baby is born addicted to caffeine, and it could be, then he or she will have a splitting killer headache at withdrawl time. I don't think there's any caffeine in formula.
