Why have you put this under pregnancy?

I'm not sure but before I fell pregnant I was on Yasmin and didn't have any problems. Go see your doctor.

Age has nothing to do with it.

I was on Yasmin (after having the same problem but worse on other pills). One day I was really happy and the next I would spend in tears.

After a lot of research and speaking to many doctors, I discovered from one lady that sometimes the pill can cause a woman to retain water at certian times of the month. This may sound wierd (it did to me) but the build up of water puts pressure on a part of the brain that controls you emotions and this leads to the moodiness and the tearfulness. She prescribed very mild water tablets for me as well as vitamin B6.

I must admit that it did not stop the tearfulness but it certainly made a difference.

Hope this helps you.

Birth control pills affect all women differntly. I was on Yasmin and had no problems with it, but higher doses I had the same symptoms you did and I had to stop taking it. Talk to your doctor.
