Transmission fluid is toxic
to pets. Use some baking soda,
or kitty litter to soak up any excess.
Then use degreaser for the first
cleaning, then just dry tide(just sprinkle it on)
use a good stiff hard brush to rub it in
and rinse really well with hot water.

Absorbant is available at most auto parts stores or at Lowes (kitty litter will work too).Scrub the absorbant in with a broom and then sweep it up.If there is some absorbant trapped between the stone,it can be sucked up with a shop vac. Then pressure wash the stone with an approved degreaser solution.

You could rent a pressure washer, but the effort is significant.
COSTCO sells a product that is designed for this very application.
It is called "Oil-Eater", and comes in a one-gallon container and an empty spray bottle for mixing different ratios for different solutions. It runs < $(.00 per gallon. It does everything that you see on television advertisements for the "fairy" soap, but it really DOES work.
Mix 50% / 50% with water, spray the spots, brush lightly with a scrub or wire brush, and rinse. DONE!!
You can also spray 100% solution and use it for a pre-wash for greasy and oily cloths. It works for petroleum products, and is pretty anemic for dirt, grass or non-grease grime.

Spread cat litter over it (if it's still somewhat fresh), use the soles of your shoes/boots to scrub it in, and sweep it up. If it's been there for a while, follow the advice of the guy who said pressure washer.

Try muriatic acid. But do not let it stay long without rinsing. it might discolor the stone.
