Oh its the age.
Your little guy may be having a growth spurt and just wants to party.
Its sound like youre doing so well by trying to entertain him etc.
Keep at it hun.
Write down how often he sleeps and for how long. Then try to work it so he sleeps less during the afternoon as to tire him more.
He is still only a little guy and in time will get the idea of day / night.
Just remember to not over stimulate him when you go in a t night and give him a big mushy kiss and tuck him in.. then walk out.
awwwwww 7 weeks old is gorgeous!

Nearly all babies go through this phase and we moms are left to sort out all of the advise that goes with it. The best I have to give as a mother of 4 is...sleep begets sleep. Babies do not need to be kept up more during the day in order to sleep better at night. Most often you just end up with a really cranky baby in the day time, too! Let him sleep when he is sleepy and keep encouraging him to sleep in the night as you are. Are you breast feeding? Could there be something that you generally eat in the evenings (or even medications that you take) that is upsetting his stomach or stimulating him?
Even if you are breastfeeding, this is a good time to start establishing a schedule. Nothing rigid, just some regularity. The main thing is to hang in there and try to nap when he does!

It can take babies months to get into a regular routine. Just sleep when he sleeps during the day. There is no way to get a baby this young into a normal schedule.

Have you got someone around to help you with the kid.?
It sounds like you are copping the lions share of the work and you cannot cope alone. You have to get used to sleeping when he sleeps. This stage wont last forever but you have to be careful
you get sleep .If you are working during the day there is a problem. When he nods off you nod off but get some help from someone.

We had a similar issue ensue with my little lady. the way we switched her agenda replaced into in the destiny I kept her conscious exceedingly a lot all day. I were given her up at 7 am and performed including her and carried her round out of her service until eventually eventually noon. I enable her take a three hour now then woke her back up until eventually 6:30. Then I enable her bypass back to sleep. After that, except waking up for her regularly occurring feedins, she began going to mattress at 8:30 and waking up at 6:30. it may be problematical to save them conscious in the course of the day inspite of the actuality that. We had to grant her baths and exceedingly a lot some thing shall we imagine of to wake her up.

sounds like you are doing everything you should be doing, it's hard when they are this small. He will eventually get it straight, just keep lights on in the room during the day and lights off at night.

during the day, take him out of whatever he's sleeping in/on and take him outside, weather permitting. if he's by a window, open the blinds and let the sunlight in. you have control of his schedule and making it right for him. don't let him sleep all day and he'll sleep at night for you. good luck with that.

you should try first a feeding schedule. if you go to bed at 10:00 make sure he eats sufficently before you go to sleep.try and listen to him when he first starts to wake up and matbe give him a pacifier first because he may not be as hungry as you think, also try a warm bath before bed.
