Hypocritical is an overrated vice. The problem really is that both the Dems & Reps are so much a like that they are becoming indistiguishable. Bush & co created Medicare Prescription drug (seemingly leftist). Bubba (Clinton) got NAFTA through (a great accomplisment IMHO).
...but, the poles of this supposed spectrum are so much alike that "there's not a dime's worth of difference between them."
It'd be a better day if somebody was pushing freedom & individual rights. Just don't expect it from either of these 2 parties.

which party has had the most scandals in the news? Which party says that they are the morality party and that morals have once again come to the White House yet they shield molesters within their party? Which party has the nerve to say that a lie about sex is worse than one that gets you into a war? Which party has the nerve to uncloak CIA agents and not fear prosecution for treason? Which party has not accountability until the election of 2006 they had free rein to do as they pleased? If you can answer these questions truthfully with honesty the answer to your question is obvious.

well, i think that both have hypocritical sides? i believe that they stem from the rampant need that the parties feel they have to be pitted against one another on everything all the time? if we could de-career politics, make this country back into what the founding fathers thought it should be and all worked together hypocrisy would probably be at an all time low, even for politicians?

What are Republicans, Alex?
I realize that as a Republican, my default answer should have been "Democrats", but it's difficult for them to be hypocritical when they don't believe in anything whatsoever, other than "We hate the President".

Hmmmm...let's see...
who claims to be the party of patriotism, yet uses the flag and our troops as nothing more than a photo op?
who claims to be the party of morality and integrity, yet has been rocked every week for the last year and a half with ethics scandals, lying, deceiving and gerrymandering?
who claims to represent the "culture of life" but is waging a bloody, devastating war with no end in sight, supports the death penalty and is against life saving stem cell research?

Obviously the Dems. They don't even resemble the same party they were 40 years ago.
