I HAVE ONE BUT THE GAS TANK IS SHOT ON IT, I LIVE IN OREGON ANYONE KNOW IF THERE IS A TANK COMPATABLE FOR IT, OR WHERE I MIGHT FIND ONE, OREGON HAS NONE

I had one of those. There are two things wrong with that bike. The first thing is the alternator will not charge the battery while the bike is idling, don't ask me why, so if you jump or push start it don't let it idle. You might as well buy a new battery. The second thing is the overdrive gear had a governor, so, you could actually go faster in 5th gear than you could in 6th gear.

Just make sure thats all you need for it. Has it been sitting up for a while? Inside or Outside? If it hasn't run in a while, you'll need to clean carb, change plugs, etc $. The chain and tires still good?

There are alot of places that will ship you a tank, your not going to find a tank from another bike to fit it. google it there are alot of bike salvage yards that ship parts all the time, this should take you just munites to find one on the internet

Do a web search for "motorcycle salvage" and call around. They're located all over the country and they ship any where.
