There are probably a dozen or more different manufacturers who make AC-USB adapters, aside from the expensive official Apple version, which are basically just a large plug with a USB port that will do nothing except supply power. I own three from Griffin, one from iConcepts, and two from Zip-Linq, plus I know I've seen models offered by Sakar (who own the iConcepts brand, but apparently feel like selling physically different adapters under both names), Sonnet, DLO, Belkin, Nyko and Boxwave (though theirs all appear to be identical to the Zip-Linq models, but more expensive). I've even seen one made by Microsoft for the Zune that should by perfectly fine for use with the iPod (though you might not want to let any zealous Apple or Microsoft fans see you merging the two brands together like that). That's eleven so far, and given how large the iPod accessories market is, I suspect that I haven't even covered half of the available manufacturers, plus some of those that I mentioned make more than one model (Zip-Linq and Boxwave both sell one that has a fold-out AC plug as well as a cigarette lighter plug for use in your car).
The only problem as I see it is that Apple, in spite of the fact that the black iPods are clearly the most popular, and the fact that neither of the current flash-based generations actually offer a true white model, still blindly insists on maintaining the image of iPod = gleaming white plastic. The result is that most of us have skipped over the white iPods but are often forced to settle for white accessories in the end. I even bought a Griffen bundle for the Sansa just to get the black AC adapter (anyone need a Sansa USB cable?), but I still haven't seen a black retractable iPod dock cable at retail.

My sister has an special adapter, honestly I haven't seen a thing like that before, but it fits in the USB cable and has the wall charger, so she can charge it by using the PC or the wall charger. Go to an electronic store and ask.

I don't know the exact pinouts, but I might suggest a company called Zip-Q. They have an array of USB cables that connect almost anything to anything.
If Your are technically inclined and want to make your own cable, then try this website: http://pinouts.ru/Devices/ipod_pinout.shtml
