Why would anyone want to hear good news first? If you had to hear it first, you would have to finish it up followed with the bad news ---- leaving the bad news to think about.

Sure makes better sense to me to let me have the bad news first, followed with the GOOD NEWS , hopefully leaving me with a smile on my face. :-)

I like to get the bad news over with and then hear the good news and feel better. Often times I try to quickly think of a solution (if possible) to the bad news, so by the time I hear the good news, I have already solved the bad news and then all there is is good news!

Depends on how good the good news is and how bad the bad news is. Usually the bad first.
