Crossing The Wire by Will Hobbs because it makes you think and reflect about the situations occuring in this world.
You should read it. :)

The Best Book I ever read was and IS "Sunshine" by Robn McKinley. It is about this girl who is kidnapped by vampires for a prisoner vampire. It is about the bond that is created between two enemies that one thinks could never be allies. It is a book that sends one out the door into the dawn, to be between sunshine and night. This is a very good book. and the way it ends it seems like there is suppose to be a sequal. I really want to say more, BUT any more would give the heart of the book/novel/story away!!!
A book series I like is the Pendragon series, by D.J.MacHale. The author works for TV series. The books are about a boy who travels worlds/dimensions. Helping those inhapitant againt the evils. The book series is up to book 7 (I think or maybe 8).
I'm sorry! I should really stop, but these are my favorite or best books and i just want others to give them a look see.
You know books wait a life time for someone to open them and give them a home and some time.

I read all the time, so that's a really hard question to answer. Now, if you asked me the FUNNIEST book I ever read, that would be easier. But best ever? Certainly one of the best would be Dune by Frank Herbert. It's so well crafted and has so much depth, as though it were history instead of fiction. I recently re-read Ender's Game by Orson Scott Card had had forgotten how good that was, as well.

I have a book that I continually read and re-read over and over again (it's become a "sorbet" for my brain when I'm reading something else really involved or complicated). It's "Legacy" by Susan Kay, which is a historical fiction novel about Elizabeth Tudor (Queen Elizabeth I). I'll read anything about her I can get my hands on, but this particular novel is my favorite.

Actually it's a series by Laurell K. Hamilton. Her "Anita Blake" books are addictive..truly. I read them all one after the other and ever since I've caught up,...the day she comes out with a new one I have to grab it. You can't even categorize her books because they have everything. Vampires, zombies, were-animals, witches, action, mystery, romance, detective work,...everything slammed into one. Very excellent author!

My favorites are A certain slant of light, written by Laura Whitcomb and A Mango shaped space by Wendy Mass. Both are beautifully written books!

Way of the Peaceful Warrior, by Dan Millman...really good book. I highly recommend you read it, but only if you wish to be wiped clean of the illusions you cling to in your life.
