Seriously, I have a hard time with that. I think I have some type of brain damage.

I can't focus in class or when people talking to me. When I'm in class, usually, the teacher is talking about certain subject, I'm not focus, I'm only thinking about, "How will I study for this lecture?"

From a similar Yahoo! question and chosen answer by Divva:

The only thing I can tell you is to psych yourself out - make yourself think you like the task. Or, do what you think is boring 1st, that way, it's out of the way and your "reward" is doing the task you love. Sometimes, you may have to allow yourself ample time - do some now, and come back to it when you are fresh.

Good Luck....

I don't think your brain damaged (lol) because many of us experience lack of focus especially if the lecture is boring. What I did in college was either record the lecture or follow the syllabus and read a chapter ahead so that I know what the instructor was generally talking about. If you daydream somewhere in the lecture and come back to earth, at least you will have a general idea of what was discussed. Whatever you didn't understand, ask a friend in your class for some help.
