Perhaps love does not actually conquer all but instead we fall into this philosophical propaganda and crazy emotion devoting our entire pointless and pathetic lives to lies and lust that can only be explained through scientific, chemical, and evolutionary attractions. If indeed this is true, who can we blame but ourselves for the heartbreaks resultant of breakups and divorces? If love is not the meaning of life, is it a devotion and a relationship with god? Or should we devote our time to bettering the world and focusing on the needs of our own bodies: eating healthy, exercising, getting enough sleep. Are we really bettering the world if we have children and progress this notion of evolution and decrease the finite number of resources that this world offers. I also must point out that if love is blind and it conquers each and every one of us, then are not we too blind? Perhaps love simply pokes out an eye for an eye by replacing the importance of the individual with the insane notion of a couple. And if two become a couple are we not just diving the world by two. Plus, we must realize the sadness that we cause to those who are unable to find a partner. Additionally, homosexuality is put down as the majority of the world is heterosexual. In the end, maybe love does conquer all, but if it is blind, it must be us who are blind to the consequences of our eccentric passions.
