I don't believe they've got expiration dates no, but that wouldn't be a problem if you have a regular period, because you won't have them longer than a year or anything.

Tampons are perfectly safe for virgins. I used them before I lost my virginity for two years. They might hurt at first, and you might even tear your hymen- but that does not mean you lose your virginity.

I say start with Playtex slimfits until you're ready to go to a bigger size.

First of all..you do NOT lose your virginity by using tampons. Virginity can only be lost by having sex with someone. Just because a woman's hymen is broken doesn't mean they're no longer a virgin.

Tampons are perfectly safe to use as long as they're used correctly and changed when they're supposed to be. I only use tampons..no pads at all and have been doing that for 13 years without ever having Toxic Shock Syndrome.

Toxic Shock Syndrome is caused by bacteria entering your body, it can occur in the vagina or the nose. Washing your hands before and after using tampons can reduce the risk.

There is no risk using tampons before losing your virginity, but it might be a little painful due to the narrow opening. I personally couldn't do it before I lost my virginity - it hurt too much. If you push too hard you will break your hymen, therefore kinda 'losing your virginity'.

They are a LOT easier to use after having sex, so I would stick to using pads until then.

No you can use tampons if you are still a virgin. Toxic shock syndrome occurs when you have a tampon in for too long. Changing tampons often, decreases your risk of toxic shock syndrome.

You do not have to lose your virginity to use a tampon and using tampons DOES NOT CAUSE you to lose your virginity; The hymen has an opening for the tampon. Using tampons before losing your virginity does not cause toxic shock sydrome. Instead of listening to your friend who doesn't seem to have a clue about these things talk to your mother about them.

No! the only thank you to lose it rather is with the help of having intercourse! And im exceedingly advantageous putting in a tampon isn't as painful as having intercourse as a virgin. So loosen up merely use a tampon. Drs say it each and every of the time

No, that is not true. You can break your hymen though using a tampon, which is usually what hurts the first time you have sex. But TSS is an infection caused by leaving your tampon in over 8 hours (or so they say).

That is so wrong! I've been using them for 6 years and I never got toxic shock and I'm still a virgin. As long as you change them regularly you won't get toxic shock.
