I'm the oldest son in my family, and it's always felt like my responsibility to take care of my family, and I actually enjoy that- but it seems like I feel compelled to take care of everyone else too, and that can be a drag sometimes!

We all tire when we have the responsibility of caring for others. Sometimes it's a parent, or relative; sometimes, it could be your own child. In my world - it's caring for the education of other people's children. Students. Yes, it can get tiring, but we buckle up, strengthen up and continue to show love and do what we have to. There's a quote I'd like to share with you - Doing well, promotes well doing...keep yourself healthy and mentally strong, emotionally stable so that you can be the same for others.

you're able to desire to take a seat down and have a communication including your husband approximately all of this. it would appear like there is not any way which you will have some on my own time, yet there better than probable is a minimum of a small window of time once or twice a week which you would be waiting to chillax and do what you prefer. in case you only permit this pass and stay the subsequent although some years of your existence devoid of something to call your person, it is going to reproduce further and extra resentment in direction of your husband or perhaps your baby.

Sometimes, but I can imagine my life being totally dull and not feeling like I'm making a difference......if I didn't have those people to take care of. A vacation every once in awhile is a must and we all need a little alone time to keep our sanity.

Yes, I do, I often wonder when is it my turn for me? It's also my job to take care of others, bake for 800 children and care for an 81 year old senior citizen. Oh well, someone has to....

YES
I have ageing parents whose income doesn't meet their needs and growing children whose needs are growing as well. College, prom, hobbies and recreation. Some days there isn't enough me left for me.
