The ratio is fairly high because teachers are not paid entertainers.

Instead, teachers are paid to give children opportunities they may never realize existed until it is too late.

Sorry for the honest answer; however, I see so many kids cheat themselves out of a better life that education might be able to provide them. Instead, they unknowingly settle for generational poverty, habitual unemployment, teenage pregnancy, and/or even prison.

I hope a life unemployed and/or in prison is more entertaining than your seemingly pathetic teachers!

Good Luck....

It depends, I think, on how interactive the teacher is. Sometimes topics will be boring, but if the teacher can engage the lesson in an interactive or hands on approach, then students wouldn't find their teachers boring. I had plenty of teachers that were boring for me growing up, so I made a vow now that I teach to put 110% in my plans to make students critically think so that they don't have time to think about being bored.

I personally think only one of my 7 teachers are boring. She teaches Spanish and all we do is repeat after her, but what spanish teacher isn't boring? My english teacher is the coolest man alive. he almost writes our essays for us, yet we actually learn a lot. My PE teacher plays sports with us and doesn't go easy! My math teacher is hilarious, even though he hates my guts. my science teacher is funny when she doesnt mean to be funny, but the best teacher i have. my media productions teacher is ok, but we make the most out of her. and finally, my geography teacher is so ignorant, that my friend played his phone in her class and she didnt care. Surprisingly, she is the most enthusiastic teacher i have, even though she has dramastic mood swings.
