I think it's a little masculine.. Maybe use it as a middle name, and if she fits it, you can call her that.
Also, there is Brody Dalle, from the Distillers, and she's girl. Although I'm pretty sure she changed her name....

Well, considering I have a friend with a little boy named Brody, I'm kinda not feelin' it for a little girl.
PS The parents are "Country" and their little Brody sports a cowboy hat and boots. Just thought I'd let you know of the type of person who opted for that name. Maybe you like country and that's ok, but there really do seem to be associations that a name automatically has. Just keep that in mind because people will perceive her based on their given associations with her name.

Would you still respect my opinion if I said, "no"? There's an old 60's song called "Jean" that was later used in an old movie called "The Pride of Ms. Jean Brody". It was about a lady that spent so much time trying to teach her totally girls school manners, the men trying to win her affection had no chance. By the time she "woke up and smelled the coffee", it was too late. They didn't care anymore.

HI, you choose a name you like don't worry about anyone else. For me i have only known one Brody and it was a boy. I like the name sounds cute for a girl too!
Good luck with all the choice of names out there.

I think boy names for girls are HOT. Sean, Michael, Rikki...
However, Brody for a girl is a bit much. MAybe because it reminds me of Bro.

I'm starting to get annoyed that all the boys names out there are turning into girls names. I named my 5 month old son Riley and then come to find out over the last year its become more of a girls name than a boys now I'm afraid that my son will get teased for having a girlie name! So take things like that into account before you stick your girl with a boys name.

No, Brody is a boys name. She would get made fun of a lot. She'd be teased about being "butch."

I love "boy" names for girls. I think that they are endearing...But understand that with that name, anyone who just sees the name will think that it is a boy. Could be a little difficult for her later in life....but personally I think that it is cute....
My little girl's name is Taylor, and even though it is a common girls name now, Anytime I take her to a new doctor or where ever, they think that she should be a he....it can be annoying after a while...
