As soon as possible. At least try - and don't beat around the bush - just ask her. She might like you too - but may not know that you like her. You won't know for sure until you ask her - if you don't, you'll be wondering for the rest of your life! Take a chance.

Just ****** do it. You're overthinking the whole situation. If she's popular, and I think she is, then she won't make a huge deal out of it because she's used to it. So you shouldn't make a huge deal out of it either.
