ok, i understand what you mean....sometimes i get really confused about song meanings and how videos relate to them. Somtimes the videos don't even relate at all, but Lying.... does. Check out these two websites. They both really help. The first one is about all of their songs and what they mean. The second one is about the video.

earlier the band grew to alter into typical, Ryan Ross became the lead singer. while Brendon Urie joined the band (first as a guitarist) and that they heard his vocals, he then grew to alter into lead singer and Ryan grew to alter into lyricist and guitarist. it incredibly is while they made it vast. Brendon Urie became the lead singer for Panic! in specifically each song. He became the lead singer in I Write Sins no longer Tragedies while he became 17. regrettably Ryan Ross and Jon Walker left the band shortly after the making of their 2d album because of the fact of musical variations (they're now interior the greater youthful Veins). Panic! on the Disco now includes Brendon Urie (Vocals) and Spencer Smith (Drums). Their new album Vices & Virtues includes The Ballad Of Mona Lisa and Brendon remains the lead singer. i comprehend he looks different, yet in basic terms because of the fact he's grown up lots on account that he became 17 :) desire I helped!

I'll agree that it's a confusing video. Here's how I broke it down. The fishtanks represent that a male & a female can live seperate lives, even though they are in a relationship. Then when she finds him "dead" she realizes even though they were a couple neither were ever satisfied. Then as we see her pour out her fishtank it's like she's displeased with herself. And at the end when they are both underwater it means that they are finally together in a way that's good for the both of them.

well it's panic so it's going to be odd....and that's why i love them!
for me the fish tank bit comes down to people and emotions being so fragile that they can break (like the fish tanks did)
also, it kind of makes me think about not only fragility, but being isolated....like they were married but they couldn't kiss because of the fishtanks.
anyways there's not always a meaning to everything...especially when it comes to Panic!

The music video is about two people who are married, and the girl finds him dead.
Then she dies, and then they go to heaven, which is the ocean.
The fish tanks, ignore it, it makes more sense without it.
Ask me any Panic! questions you have. Hehe.
