Hi! Thats my name is actually spellt Jaimie.. The spelling of my name means "I Love" in French. Please, wahtever you do... do not spell your child's name Jamie.. it is so common. All my fellow Jamie's agree!
My bestfriends name is Jaimi and my other is Jayme and we all love how our mom's spelt our names differentally than the norm. I LOOOOOVEE the usage of "y"s in the name and both my bestfriends agree. Try Jayme... or Jaymie is my favorite!:)
BTW... I have never had in my whole life anyone think my name was pronounced "Hi May" (spanish spelling). And no, my name is not pronouced weird because it has a "Jai" porition. Its all the same and everyone that reads my name knows what is it. I do have to say though its a pain to correct people's spelling, but once I do I always get "wow, thats pretty spelling" .
Good luck!

Classic spelling, Jamie because if you spell it with two "ee's" or something else not typical, the poor dear is going to have to correct people for her entire life as she places orders, does over the phone banking, attends functions with pre-printed name tags... You get my point. Just spare her the misery and keep it simple.
Perhaps you can have a little more creative fun with her middle name? By the way, Jaime is a darling name for a little girl. Congratulations!

I prefer Jamie or Jayme.
I thought about using the name and spelling it Jayme. I like the spelling because my dad's name is Jay and my Grandfather was James.
I don't like the i at the end at all.

I think either Jaymee, Jamie, or Jaymi. With the other ones (that begin with Jai...) your daughter will be called Jaime (Hay-me) her entire life. It's a Spanish boy's name.
