Is that show a reality show or do they have a script like other other shows? I've only seen it a few times and wasn't sure.

Well it claims to be a reality show. However, it is a spin-off from Laguna Beach, also a "reality show", but the "characters" all said that the producers would tell them what to talk about, and direct the plot. So basically, the people are actually real, and they are friends...but the drama is overplayed and their lives aren't exactly like that.

It's SUPPOSEDLY a reality show. Kinda like The Real World...it's supposed to be real, but you don't really buy it.

its reality but the producers do things to spice it up a little they kinda blow some stuff out of porportion and make things more crafty at how there worded
