I've seen in some fashion magazines that people are starting to wear tight, thin, colored ankle socks with high-heels. Is it acceptable to do so? I just bought new heels that might look cute with navy blue, beige, or red socks that meet the requirements listed above. Should I but some socks?

NO ull look ridiculous.......they use socks to emphasize the shoe and to draw more attention to it but noone actually goes out like that in public

Yeah, it looks good.
Ladies in my area do it all the time. I suggested a few of the get novelity socks. Now more and more ladies are wearing socks with heels and toe socks with open toed shoes.
Do it with your head held high and with a smile. You can get the trend going stronger.

you can try it to start a fashion statement..but if it isnt featured in casual wear magazines..ppl would jus think your crzy..i actually love the new look and i think its very fun and cute..i tried the look once with a pair of mary janes and people jus stared at me like i was crazy..lol

i really love that look as i saw it afew years ago in a magazine under something like '80s biker chic' and thought it looked awesome. definately wear it out.
