Their dresses are mostly new, some used. They range in price from about $35-$50. The big names (Jessica McClintock and Alyce) are around $70-$90. They have a ton of shorter (cocktail dresses) too. It's worth a look :)

Best thing is: They can be returned (unlike ebay).

Dillards has cheap prom dresses and some of them r really nice or you could go to like a specific store that has just prom dresses there r lots of stores like that you'd be suprised how many you can find if you look in the right places!

on that budget, i might certainly circulate to coast monsoon, or perhaps oasis this season - all of them have great clothing, oasis for below a one hundred and the different 2 on your variety. wish that facilitates!
