Don't you think you ought to be past the need for an anti-depressant at all before you get pregnant??

Paxil is definitely related to birth injuries. It can cause a hear defect in the baby.
Tell your doctor that you may plan on getting pregnant. Your doctor will take you off of that medication immediately.
A study sponsored by Paxil maker, GlaxoSmithKline, suggested that infants born to women taking Paxil were at about double the risk of birth defects compared with women taking other antidepressants. The most common Paxil birth defects were cardiovascular. The risks were about 50 percent higher than they were in the general population.

You shouldn't be taking any kind of drug like that if you are pregnant. Call your doctor and ask what he suggests that you do. I take prozak myself and would not take it if I were pregnant. Nothing is safe unless your doctor tells you it is ok.
Please call your doctor As soon as you can. and Stop taking the Paxil if you can or atleast take less till you find out for sure.

This is something you need to discuss with your doctor. No on here can have a clue which drug might work best for you. See your doc and get his input on this.
