Keep in mind that I am in a 16-team auction ESPN league. Our cap was 270.00. The categories are: runs, avg, bb, hr, sb, rbi and for pitching they are: W,BB,ERA,Holds,SV,WHIP,K/9. I might be forgetting some of the categories, but you get the idea.

well the categories are kinda strange to me and as a result ur team looks overall good...seems to me that u want more relief pitchers than starters, so shields is great..i would look up craig henson from boston if he begins to shine through as he could end up takin up the closer spot or at least get a lot of holds.....

u have a lot of speed which is great for the categories that are in place in your league but, should prolly try to trade a freel or pierre for a guy that bats in the middle of the lineup and can get u hrs, rbis, and bbs

For a 16-team league, I guess it's decent. You certainly have enough power between Ortiz and Fielder. I hope you're not putting much stock in Sammy Sosa. Uggla's numbers may slip a bit, seeing that he had an incredible breakout year.

I'm in the same boat with you with Wheeler. I drafted him in my 16-team league for holds, but there's a chance he might close for the Astros with Lidge having issues again. Fortunately for you, though, you have Shields, who will again rack up holds and will help with your ERA and WHIP. Your pitching staff should be solid.

As with any large league in this format, you want to pay close attention to the waiver wire to find the hot players. I think you may be a little light offensively, but I assume that other teams are probably similarly off-balanced.

As a comparison, I just wrapped up a 16-team draft where I landed the following team:

C - J. Posada
1B - D. Lee
2B - C. Utley
3B - M. Ensberg
SS - O. Cabrera
OF - C. Lee
OF - J. Pierre
OF - M. Bradley
UTIL - J. Thome
Bench: J. Kent, J. Varitek, G. Anderson
SP - D. Willis
SP - C.M. Wang
RP - T. Saito
RP - C. Ray
P - O. Dotel
P - D. Wheeler
Bench: D. Sanchez, J. Jennings

Obviously my team is balanced the other way... heavy on offense and not quite as strong pitching-wise. Plus, you have the three extra offensive spots, which further dilutes the offensive talent pool.

So, all in all, looks like a pretty decent team in your format. Good luck!

It sucks. Just kidding, it's about an 8. But who is Boof Bonser and why is he on your team? Also, why don't you have any position players on your bench? You could use better relivers and a fourth outfielder. Sosa isn't a very viable option. He will start the season on the bench. Also, you should replace Lamb and get a better corner infielder. Otherwise, you should be in pretty good shape.

a lot closer than apparently. i am going to bypass with the first one until eventually you consider Pettite's harm, because the first team's offense is a lot more beneficial useful. Halladay and Wainwright have both greatest aspect totals in maximum H2H leagues and are basically even, Jimenez vs. CC i bypass with CC because Jimenez replaced into awful in July, Lester vs. Johnson, aspect Johnson, value vs. Pettite aspect value, and Hamels vs. Lincecum, aspect Lincecum. in spite of the undeniable fact that the in undemanding words one that's a landslide is Lincecum over Hamels, all some thing else are a minimum of fairly close. Hitting-sensible, Pudge vs. Napoli, aspect Napoli, each thing else as well Hamilton vs. Braun and A-Rod vs. Longoria is a huge aspect for team a million (Hanley Ramirez sucks this season) or maybe those are exceedingly close. So I say team a million by ability of a nostril, in spite of the undeniable fact that that's totally close.

You are loaded with speed, some good power potential. Looks like you are short on saves, big time, and maybe some average hitting. Not a big fan of Burrell, his average killed me last year. 16 team league is so big, no free agents left to help much. See if there is a RP glut on a team with need for a power hitter with Burrell as your offer. I am thinking, who were your top picks, cuz this team has no studs.

I'm actually more expirenced with Yahoo! Fantasy Baseball but to me your offense is o.k. You have some decent starting pitching but it's not great.
