To elaberate...Say for instance you went to a doctor to have some tests done. When he came back with the results he imformed you that you had a disease or cancer that you would not be able to fight. Basically telling you that you were going to die in a short period of time. Only later to find out that the doctors information got mixed up with someone elses and you were not going to die, you were not even sick, and that you were actually perfectly healthy.
I am interested to find out if this has ever happened to you, how you reacted when you found out that you were sick, and then how you reacted when you found out when you weren't sick. If you have never personally experienced this, please feel free to give me a hypothetical explaination if this were to ever happened to you.
Thanks :)

well one time i was bleeding early in my pregnancy and i went to the emergency room. the doctor told me that my sac was empty and i was in the process of having a miscarriage. he even showed me on the ultrasound. he told me to give it a couple of days and the baby will pass through. then he wanted me to come back for a d & c.....

7 months later i gave birth to a little baby girl, so obviously he didnt know what he was talking about.

This actually has happened to me. I was diagnosed with a late stage cervical cancer not once, not twice, not three times but 4 different times. This was in the span of 1 year but it turns out that they were wrong all 4 times!! All I can say is what a scare, I was only 21 at the time. It was at an Army hospital btw

Motorcycle riding. The Los Angeles Times reports that there are 40 deaths per million miles -- which works out to one death per 25,000 miles. I should be dead five times over.
