try taking some motrin and drink lots of hot tea, I always do that when I'm on mine. If your stomach hurts putting a warm rag on your stomach might also help stop the pain. If that doesnt help I always have at least one piece of chocolate, I know this seems better fit for a break up but I guarantee that a piece of chocolate will make you feel a bit better. But remember to drink tons of tea with some motrin or midol if you'd rather have that. And stay away from ice cream and cold foods, that may increase the pain.
Hope that helps!

I usually like to take a warm bath because that eases cramps and actually stops the period for a short time. Other than that, exercise works because it causes the muscles to relax and aspirin is my best friend. Make sure you drink fluids and get sleep. That's key.
